When the water then evaporates, it leaves behind the salt residue. Efflorescence isn’t dangerous, but it leaves behind an unsightly  appearance to your home.

With the correct solution and proper application, the Efflorescence can be removed from your concrete/stone/brick/stucco and the substrate(s) will return back to its original appearance. Depending on how long this condition has been going on or how severe the Efflorescence is, it may take a couple of treatments to get all of the Efflorescence removed.
